Templetot, Harold, Omega, and Edward James were scratched. The Hurry Scurry was contested by six horses, and won by McGee's Old Tim. A landlady of an Auckland hotel, while crossing the course, was knocked over by Gillie Callum, the well known racehorse, owned by the landlord of tho Albert Hotel. The totalisator was well patronised. A Waikato gentleman testing its modus ojicrumli won a good sum on Ariel, and will recommend turf clubs to take totalisator3 under their special patronage pro bono publico, the club to receive a commission.
