At the Waste Lands sale to-day, the following blocks were sold:—Faruh of Tuakau, 28a L 57, Brady; 50a, L 75, Shea ; 50a, Lll4, Megarry ; 50a, Ll4O, Ewing; 76a, Ll 14, Shea.* INVERCARGILL. A Swede named Synudahl, who arrived from Melbourne six weeks ago and was unable to gst employment, hung himself to a clothes prop at the back of the Clarendon Hotel, where he was lhlng. Twenty tons of coal from a new mine in Preservation Inlet arrived at the Bluff on Saturday.
