A smaller than usual muster of store cattle, at Waiuko, were m good demand at full values. Three-year-old steers brought £6 15 to L 7 10a: 18« months steers, L 4 10s ; cows, L 4 7s 6d to L 7 12a 6d ; oalvep, 30s to 433 each. On Tuesday, there was a larger sale of hides, skins, and wool than usual, with a good enquiry throughout. Sound hides brought from 3d to 3fcd ; damaged hidee, from Id to 2Ad the pound ; tallow, 21s the cwt. ; sheepskins, Is 7d to 23 lOd ; pelts, ljd to 5d each ; bags of greasy wool, 4^d to 9d ; looks and "pieces, 3£d to 4£d the pound. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were m limited number and fair enquiry. Several pens of grown steers sold freely at full values, bringing from L 6 to 17 12s 6d each. Fat cattle m full numbers ; 150 head yarded. Prices for steers similar to last week, varying from 26s to 28s the lOOlba ; but cows were lower, many not , bringing more than 22s the lOOlbs. Fat i sheep plentifnl, prices low ; wethers, from lls to 14s ; eweß, Gs to 8a each, or about twopence the pound. Lambs m less number than last week, and better values, best quality bringing 8s to lls each.
