AUCKLAND.
At the Board of Education today "Wishart's tender for the erection of a teacher's residence at Obaiipo, for £410 was accepted, lo was also resolved that tho erection of a school-, house at Pimui be commenced on payment of the contribution promised by the settlers. A Loan and Mercantile telegram says: —Wool sales closed with an average improvement of a penny to twopence per lb.
