Waikato Times Office, Monday Evening. HUNTER AND NOLAN'S WAIKATO MONTHLY REPORT. At the special sale held afc Ohaupo on November sfch, there was an unusnally large number of stock yarded, being^wellbred and m good condition. They elicited keen competition. There Was a ' good attendance, amongst which were several buyers for large runs. Nearly every beast yarded sold. Yearling steers, £3 2s Gd to £4 2s 6d ; l£ and 2-year-old steers, £4 10s to £5 Un 6d ; 3 and 4 -year-old steers, £G 10s to £7 17s 6d ; fat heifers, £7 each ; store cows, £4 12s Gd to £5 10s; store heifers, £4 to £4 12s Gd each. At Raglan on Thursday, November 13fch, although thero was a heavy downpour of rain, tho Okete Yards were fided to excess with a bettor breed of cattle than is usually the ease, and were mostly grown stock. There was a large attendance of buyers from Te Awamutu, Pukerimu, and Kihikihi, m addition to local buyers. Cattle realised nearly Ohaupo prices, and both sellers and buyez-s were pleased wifcb tho result of sale. At Ngaruawahia on Saturday, November 15th, there was a full muster of very choice cattle, principally steers from 2 to 3-year-old. There were a good number of buyers, ami nearly every beast sold. Vj and 2-year-old steers, £4 to £5 7s Gd ; n-ye&r-oid steers, £0 5s to £7 ; Btore cows, £4 to £4 17s Gd ; yearlings, from £3. Afc Ohaupo, on the usual sale day, November 20th, a large number of cattle were again brought forward. The yards were well-filled, the greater part being young cattle of good description. All met with ready sale. Yearlings, from £3 2s Gd to £3 17s 6d ; 2-year-old heifers, £5 to £5 16s; 2-year-old heifers, £4 10s to £o 2s 6d ; store cows, from Mto £4 12s 6d; cows and calves, £4 15s to £5 10s the pair; 3-year-old steers, £6 os to £7 7s Gd ; fat cows, from £7 to £9 ; riding horses, from £5 10s to £8 ss ; fat wethers (shorn), Sa each. At Cambridge on Thursday, November 27th, there was a fair muster of cattle, principally beef, and a very large number of both fat and store cheep. Fat heifers soli from £6 10s to £7 ; fat cowa, £7 to £8 6s; fat steers, £8 5s to £9 ; store eves and wethers (shorn), 6s each ; ewes and lambs, 4s ; fat wethers, 8s to 10s each.
