Hamilton, Waikato, March, 18V9. Medical Testimony. Hamilton, April If", 1870.— Sir, Iliavo carefully looked over _ome specimens of your Wool prepared for Mattress making, »i.til find it not ohly excellent m quality but free from any disagreeable smell ot grease." The Wool is so carefully "carded' that no "felting win "take place, thus, ensuring that beautiful softness and elasticity so essential to a bed. For some years I have used Wool Mattresses m my own house prepared by mvHolf, aiid I greatly prefer them to any other kind ; but you far excel mc m the softness and elastic character of your " carded" wools. — I am, sir, yours obediently, E. Waddington, M.D. To Mr Albert Potter, Hamilton East. Auckland, April 25, 1879. — I certify that I have carefully examined some specimens of " carded" Wool, prepared by Mr Potter, of Waikato. They are beautifully clean, -and free frbm any disagreeable smell ; and mmy opinion are ■very suitable for Mattresses, which would be vei'y elastic, warm, and comfortable. — Thos. B. Kenderdine, M.R.C.S., L. &E. I have carefully examined the two samples of Wool which you gave me, and find them excessively clean, free from smell, and admirably fitted for the manufacture of Mattresses and Cushions, one of winch I also inspected. I consider a well-made Wool Mattress more healthy and comfortable than a feather bed ; ai.d, judging from the samples I saw m your possession, I can most conscientiously recommend the materials and the work.— Charles F.
