Therefore persons' using them will not be subject to those very, disagreeable vapors which the pressure of the body, assisted by its heat upon impure animal and other substances, emits, and the many diseases which follow it, as an acting cause. Hamilton, Waikato, March, ISV'9. ' Medical Testimony. Hamilton, April I.', i;s7s).—Sir, 1 have cßvefiilly looked over some mcus of yuur 'Wool prepared for Mattress making, and find it not, only excellent in quality but free from any disagreeable'smell or grease The Wool is so carefully "carded', that no "felling'' can take place, thus ensuring ,that benutiful softness and elasticity so essential to a bed. For some years 1 have used Wool Mattresses in my own house prepared by mvself, and I greatly prefer them to any other kind ; but you far excel me in the softness and elastic character of your "carded" wools. I am, sir, yours obediently, E. Wabdhtotox, M.D. To Mr Albert Potter, Hamilton East. Auckland, April 2-5, .1879.—1 certify that I have carefully examined some specimens of "carded" Wool, prepared by Mr Potter, of Waikato. Tkey are beautifully clean, and free from any disagreeable smell; and in my opinion are very suitable for Mattresses, Avhich would be very elastic, warm, and comfortable.— Tiros. B. Kenberdixe, M.R.C.S., L. &E. I have carefully examined the two samples of Wool which you gave me, and find them excossiyely clean, free from smell, and admirably fitted for the manufacture of Mattresses and Cushions, one of which I also inspected. I consider a well-made. Wool Mattress more healthy and comfortable than a feather bed ; ai.d, judging from the samples I saw in your possession, I can most conscientiously recommend the materials and the work.— Charles F. GoLnsnono', M.D., Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, &c. To Mr Albert Potter, Hamilton, Waikv o.
