AUCKLAND, List Night. Draining Te Aroha land is to be proceeded with at an estimated cost of betweeu £3000 and £4000, and when completed will liberate upwards of 20,000 acres of the richest land. It is expected the block will bo advertised for aale through the Waste Lands Board m a short time, and offered m sections varying from 50 acres -to 500 acres.
Dr Zinzan, of Onehunga, is dead. The Fernglen's immigrants were landed to-day, and seem to be a good class.
GRAHAMSTOWN, Last Night. A survey party was stopped again at Hikutaia, while engaged on the Kakaraniea block bp Te Amopetae. Police proceedings are to be taken.
