LONDON WOOL MARKET: GREAT RISE IN PRICES.
London, November 18. The new series of colonial wool auction sales were opened to-day. The quantity catalogued was 73,000 bales. The tonn of the sale was very active. Australian merinos showed ten percent, and cross fifteen per cent, advance. The sales close on the 9th of December. Consols stand . at 98£. Colonial debentnres are m active demaad and have risen generally about half per cent. . ' . i The Irish agitation continues. Killer, Devitt, and < Daly were arrested at Dublin for sedition, An agitation is going on m New York for reduction of duty on wool.
