Mr Whyte hob. been und is still nsinir all the influence which his position as the representative of the district enables him to expreUo m furthering the vievts of his Cambridge constituents m this matter. o Wkllinqt>n, November 19. I presented railway petition some time ago and saw Ministers .seA r oral times about it. Will interview again. J. B. Wn\'T«. . Last night wo received the following additional information from Mr J. P. Oampbell : — " I have received the following telegram from Major Wilson, who is now m Wellington" :—"To J. P. Campbell, Cambridge— Deputation consisting of Whyte, M.H.U., Graham, Walkor and self waited on tho Hon. Mr Oliver re Cambridge railway. Ho will proceed to Waikato after the session. A sum will be placed on estimates for Taupo road."
