DISTRICT COURT.
• Hamilton-, Tuesday/' Nov. 18. [Before J. E. Macdonald, District Judge.] In Bankeuptcy. Me R. M. Muir. Order of discharge granted. Civil Cases. ' Hally v. Wakaroa. Defendant appeared m answer to a judgment summons. Mr O'Neill for plaintiff, Mr Hay for defendant.
It was proved that defendant had drawn £LOO out of the Bank of New Zealand a week before plaintiff obtained the judgment summons. Plaintiff had given him credit on being shown the bank receipt. Defendant now said he did not see how to pay. He had land, but it was reserved to him.
No order was made. Barlow v. Tiadale. Mr Hay for plaintiff, Mr O'Neill for defendant.
This was an adjourned case, arising out of a disputed claim to a horse which had been left m defendant's charge. Plaintiff was nonsuited with costs.
