Lonn an:l S. .Powell, £10 each ; C. H. Owen, £15 ;P. Barter, £5. A special train leaves for Dunedin tonight, at 9 o'clock, with the return visitors. At the sale of racehorses, to-day, Fish-hook was sold for five hundred and twenty guineas; Tera for one hundred and seventy-five guineas. Both were bought by Mr Jobberns. AUCKLAND, Last Night. The best cattle sale ever held m Raglan was by Messrs Hunter and Nolan on Thursday. Two hundred head store cattlft weie yarded, and all found ready sales at high figures. There was a larger attendance of Waikato buyers, partly owing to the fact ot the new road making travelling so much easier, GRAHAMSTOWtf, last nighfc. Mr Ebentreid is the only person nominated for the office of Mayor.
