EARL BEACONSFIELD'S SPEECH. London, November 10. The Premier in a speech at the Mansion House, stated he believed the revival of trade would, be permanent, because it was everywhere apparent, in England, America, and Europe. The British Government, he said, were closely watching Ireland, who never yet appealed in vain to England. One result of th 6 Zulu war, he remarked, was that it taught colonists self-reliance in case of difficulties. Afghan, he said, was fully seemed, and the frontier to India, and they had maintained British influence in Asia. He believed there would be prolonged peace throughout Europe, provided England maintained her position in the councils of Europe.
