We regret to notice in. our obituary columns the death of Mr Eobert Adamson, son of Mr Adamson, of Hamilton, who died of consumption at the Provincial Hospital on today last, at the early ao-e of 23. The family of the deceased, who are deservedly respected in Hamilton, will have many sympathisers with them in their loss. Square was held at the Royal Hotel, a committee appointed to confer with tho Borough Council and many promises of teamsj labour and subscriptions promised toward that- object. Councillor Dawson stated this at the meeting of the Council last night, and a sum of £39 was voted for the purpose of levelling and improving Sydney Square, £l9 being the proceeds of the sale of the late Town Hall, and £2O a. grant of tho Council.
