TtoeSS AOENCY. 1 WELLINGTON, Last Night. PARLIAMENTARY. The Opposition only ckim a certain majority of two. Maeandrew's motion is placed second a,m©ng the notices of motion for to-morrow, but several bills will be sent down before it. The Opposition hope to pin the Government to tbe debate before going into committee of supply on Wednesday. The Government is trying to get another vote by inducing one of the Opposition members to accept the vacant portfolio, whicli would make the numbers equal, and save the Government by the Speakier's casting vote. The Government allege that Sir
George Grey's memorandum about faking- 5000 more immigrants*, 1 dining distress in England, was purposely om'uted from the papers i laid on the table of the House, last session. The Government are also printing various vouchers, most damaging' to the Grey party. The South British meeting report shewed receipts*. £67,927, expenditure ,=£03,876. It mentioned heavy losses that have occurred, and the eff.ct of general trade depression. A dividend of len per cent was declared.
