Hamilton, Waikato, March, IS/ 9. Medical Testimony. Hamilton, April, 1?, 1879. — Sir, Ihave carefully looked over some specimens of your Wool prepared for Mattress making, and 'find, it not only excellent in -quality but free fron} .any disagreeable smell or grease. The Wool is so carefully ■'carded' that -no "felting'' can take place,' thus ensuring that beautiful softness and elasticity so essential to a bed.. For .some years .1 have used Wool Mattresses in my own bouse prepared by mvself,. and I greatly prefer tbem to any other kind ; but you far excel me in the softness, and clastic character of your " carded." wools. — I am, sir, yours obediently, E. Waddington, M.D. To I Mr Albert Potter, Hamilton East. Auckland, April 25, 1879.— 1 certify that I have carefully examined some specimens of "carded" Wool, prepared ;by Mr Potter, of Waikato. Tliey are beautifully clean, and free from any disagreeable smell ; and in my opinion aro very suitable for Mattresses, which would be very elastic, warm, and comfortable. — Tnos. B. Kenderdine, M.R.0., L. &E. I have carefully ■ examined the two samples of Wool which you gave me, and find them excessively clean, frco from smell, and admirably fitted for tbe manufacture of Mattresses and Cushions, one of which- 1 also inspected. I consider a j well-made Wool Mattress more heaPhy nnd comfortable than a feather bed ; ai.„, judging from tho samples I saw in your possession, I can most conscientiously recommend tbo materials and the work. — ChakleS F.
