WELLINGTON, kst night. The latest ir liable information states that ' Masters, who.se vote was doubtful, will go with the Opposition. THE DIVISION. The latest reckor.iug of tho cards gives forty to tho ' Government, including London, Shepherd, Montgomery, Finn,, Ireland, Tainui, Mohaia, and Te Wheoro. Toe Opposition are reckoned as forty, including Whyte, Bryce, Mason, Masters, Wright, McCaughan, and Stewart. Murray and Pyke are still doubtful, and claimed by both sides. . DUNEDIN, last night. A Bailor, named Smith, waß arrested on a charge of kicking his wife to death. She had goiio to get money from him, due ovau 'a maintenance order, and was found lying on the pavement, at night, with her leg broken, and suffering from epileptic fits, which continued till she died.
