WRITTEN Tenders will be received by the Board up to Wednosday the 24th inst. for finishing, according to Specifications, somo 210 chains (more or less) of road between the Waiharakeke and Waitoa Bridges. Work consists of deepening side drain IBin. and spreading the clay, carting sand on to road, and putting m pipe culverts. Prizes being all that have been offered for the best pieceis of work, and from the fact that these Ploughs have won, m round numbers, 2,300 Prizes, m competition with other leading Turn- Wrest Ploughmakers, the evidence is still conclusive that Davey, Sleep & Co.'s Ploughs are still the best.
