INDEPENDENT LIBERAL M.H.R'S.
Sin, — As Parliament will soon meet for business, it may not be out of place to remind those Independent Liberal Members ou their promises to support the Liberal Policy as enunciated by the Premier, and to strictly unite with the majority of the Auckland members m voting upon any important division, although not necessarily pledged to follow any particular leader. I need scarcely say that the actions of Representatives, m the Assembly, will be narrowly watched m the f utMi-o, and any departure from the course so recently marked out by themselves, will be equivalent to signing their own death warrant, and will as effectually stamp them out of political life, as if a heavy dose of "Grey's Magic Vermin Killer" had been administered by Professor Sloane. The result of the late elections demonstrate the fact, that the electors will, not be trijlcd with m this matter, and that any member who violates his promises, must expect no msrey at the hands of his constituents.— I am, &c, R.B. Te Awamutu. '
