THE CABUL MASSACRE.
[Special to the ' Herald.'] LONDON", September 9. News from Afghanistan itates that the natives of Badashkan threaten to revolt against the Ameer Akbar. Crowds of people are leaving Cabul. It is closed against the British. The Queen has conveyed to Lady Cavagnari, at Edinburgh, her sympathy for the loss of her husband. At Vienna, the masaacro has excited horror and indignation. The Paris p »pers declare that England is compelled to occupy and perhaps annex Afghanistan. The ' Golos ' says that the Treaty of Gundamak has been torn to shreds, and that the annexation of the country has become a fatal neocssity. It insinuates the complicity of the Ameer m the attack.
