Sir,— ln planting trees m the fern, what means does Mr Firth take to get rid of it during their growth, for, unless something is done, it will thicken, and if accidentally fired, the trees will be destroyed, as I have, unfortunately, experienced.— l am, &c, Inquirer. Hamilton, Sept. 9, 1179.
