[press agency.] AUCKLAND, ladt night. Tho appeal of Robert Graham against the Magistrates decision in re Rotorua case, came on again today. The Resident Magistrate had not the amended statement of the case, which had been objected to by the plaintiff's solicitors, and Mr Jlesketh complained strongly, alleging that the statement of the oase was misleading, and most damaging to his client.
Hamlin and Harris secured a vote of confidence at Bombay by fortyfive against nine,, notwithstanding a letter from Mr Hobbs, asking the electors to suspend their judgment till they heard hi in.
WELLINGTON, last night. (From oar Special Correspondent.) It is asserted on good anthority that; a general movement among the Good Templars and other temperance associations, to give their support only to those candidates who will pledge themselves to uphold their interests, has been initiated.
