THE NARROWS BRIDGE.
The following is tho balance sheet of the Narrows Bridge Committee Some of tke subscriptions are not yet paid, by which it would seem that there is still a liability of about £100. There is no toll from which the deficiency can be raised, and the most reasonable and fair way out of the difficulty would seem to be, that the Counties should take over the bridge, and pay off the outstanding balance. It is not fair that $he loss should fall upon the gentlemen forming the Committee, through whose exertions so useful a public work has been accomplished : ~ Nabbows Bridge Fund Acoount. EECEirag.
