The huge chasm behind LeQuesno's storo, which was started by water led on to the river bank, is principally on borough land, which has, consequently, been damaged to a great extent. Such things shonld not be alloArod. That it is possible to preserve the banks, no matter how light and sandy they may be, has bee* proved beyond a doubt.
