The concert and dramatic performance held an Le Quesne's Hall, Hamilton, m aid of the funds of the Ladies Benevolent Society on Thursday Evening, went off remarkably well. The first portion of the entertainment; consisted of instrumental and vocal music, and the latter portion, of a farce, " Taming a Tiger." The several parts Avere Avell sustained throughout. The net proceeds Avere about £15.
