PURE WOOL MATTRESSES. \ LBERT POTTER, Wool Stapler xjl and Scourer, having had repeated applications for Wool cleaned by "Ms process" for the purpose of malting Beds, Mattresses. &c, has induced him to introduce to the notice of ladies and gentlemen, private families, hotel and boardinghouse keepers, especially invalids, and the public m general of New Zealand, his Pure "Wool Mattresses, Squabs for Sofas and Couches, Beds for Children's Cots, Settees, &c, and in' doing so would beg to observe that the Wool his Mattresses aro stuffed with is divested of all dirt, animal and glutinous matters, and is entirely free from impurities of every description, " the fibres of the Wool retaining all its elasticity and flexibility, as when m the previous stnte, — the yolk." Therefore persons using them Avill not be snbjcct to those very disagreeable vapors which the pressure of the body, iissistod by its heat upon impure animal and other substances, emits, and the many diseases which follow it, as an acting cause. Hamilton, April If., IS79— Sir, I have carefully looked over some specimens of your Wool prepared for Mattress makiug, and find, it not only excellent m .quality but free from any disagreeable smell or grease. The Wool is so carefully "carded, 1 that no "felting" can take, place, thus ensuring that beautiful softness and elasticity so essential to a bed. I For some years I bavo used Wool ' Mattresses m my own house prepared by myself, and I greatly prefer them to any , other kind ; but you far excel me m the softness and elastic, character of your " carded" wools. — I am, sir, yours obediently, E. Waddingtox, M.D. To Mr Albert Potter, Hamilton East. Auckland, April 25, 1879.— 1 certify that I have carefully examined some specimens of "carded" Wool, • prepared f by Mr Potter, of Waikato. They are beautifully clean^ and free from any, disagreeable smell ; and mmy opinion are very suitable for Mattresses, which would be very elastic, warm, and comfortable. — Tiios. B. I have carefully examined the two samples of Wool which you gave me, and find them excessively clean, free from smell, and admirably fitted for the manufacture of Mattresses and Cushions, one of which I also inspected. I consider a well-made Wool Mattress more healthy \ and comfortable than a feather bed ; and, judging from the samples I saw m your possession, I can most conscientiously recommend the materials and the work. — Charles F.
