We have received a second letter from the writer of "Bayonet," which appears m our correspondence columns of to-day. In this second^ letter the • writer entersintomatterwhich, wethink it were unwise at the present moment to discuss, however muc_i tp the point his arguments may be ; and we are, therefore, somewhat unwillingly compelled to withhold it, at any rate for the present.
Cambridge was named m 1864, not 1863. It, was only m. November, 1863, that the battle of Rangiriri was fought.
