Hamilton, June 18.

(Before H. W. Northcroft, Esq., R.M.) Patrick Byrne, a lad aged 13 years, pleaded guilty to stealing 1 a "watch' and chain, value ten pounds, from Mr Innis's dwelling-house, at Te Awamutu. His Worship, after some consideration, ordered that the boy be sent to the Naval Training Ship for a period of 12 months.
