MBSSBS HUNTER AND NOLAN'S W BEKLY. REPORT. Horses.—There has been little noteworthy in the market. The supply was moderate, and demand corresponding. There was steady competition, and nearly all in were disposed of, although, in some instances, prices scarcely came up to vendors' ideas of value. We quote hacks from £4los to £l3; light-harness horses, from £l3 10s to £2l; medium draught, from £26 •to £35. Cattle.—There has been a continuous ! supply, but best dairy cows at their profit have been far short of requirements. At Newmarket, on- Tuesday, the number yarded was scarcely up to the average, and there was but little alteration in value. There remains an unsatisfied demand for good dairy cows. Stores were unaltered in value, and there was a slightly upward tendency in price for well-fatted beasts. We quote dairy cows from £9 7s 6d to £l3 ; dry cows, £4 7s 6d to £6 os; calves, from 35s to 555; yearlings, £2 17s Gd to £4 ; two-year-old steers from £4 5s to £5 15s; jjhre-year-olds, £5 10s to £7.
