THE GOVERNOR'S VISIT TO WAIKATO.

The following authoritive information was wired to us yesterday evening, from Auckland : — " Owing to the short stay of the Governor, m consequence of the meeting of Parliament, he does not wish his reception to be a formal one, as he intends visiting Waikato again, when -he will have more time at his command. He will leave Auckland at 9.30 on Friday, for Hamilton, arriving about 1.30 p.m., proceeding to Cambridge m the afternoon, and sleeping there. He will be the guest of Every Maclean, Esq., of Fen Court, that night, and go* on to Te Awamutu next morning, to inspect Cavalry, and return to Auckland by special train on Saturday.
