The Hon. the Native Minister left Kihikihi yesterday for Auckland. I regret to say, met with a sad accident on Saturday' last. He was leaving his home to attend the races here, and when m the act of mounting his horse, which was rather .fresh, , and before he had ti,rae to get his foot m the off stirrup, the animal started and turned round, he lost his ballanco and fell, breaking his left collar bpne.
