(By the ' Detroit Free Press Fiend.') The other day, as a Woodward, avenne car stopped for a lady, she did not readily find a seat, the car being crowded and the aisle full. A man who was riding on the platform put his head into the door and called out : ' > * Here ! — some o' you men give this lady a seat. She's gob on cotton stookings and her summer hat, and is almost froze to death.' The man told the truth and the lady secured a seat, bat the glance she bestowed on her sympathising friend would have turned honey sonr.
