THE HARVEST IN VICTORIA.
MELBOURNE, May 16. The officials statistics show the yield last harvest, to be 5,715,000 bushels wheat being a decrease of 1,214,000 bushels as compared with the previous year. The average yield is B*7 bushels, as compared with 12*4: bushels per acre during the previous years ' The yield of oats is 307,000 bushels, beiug an iucrease on last season. The additional acreage under wheat is 94,000 acres. New Zealand oats nre plentiful,, at
3s 6d to 4s 9d per bushel ; 4000 bushels were sold to-day m two lines.
