ANTI-CHI N ESE CONSTITUTION PASSED.
LONDON, May 9. The State of California has adopted the new Anti- Chinese Constitution. The voting took place on the 7th, and caused great excitement. California prohibits Chinese immigration. The Swan and Clough private bank, York, has failed.
