NGARUAWAHIA WHARF.
Sib, — The Avharf m NgaruaAvahia, m course of erection, m our small township, is progressing slowly but surely, and Avill be a real benefit to both our steamer and railway traffic. The material going into ifc, seems to fee really good. But, ifc Avould be a pity should the construction be put on short blocks, instead of piles driven firmly down. Of course, it Avould cost a little more to do this, but ifc is an old and true saying, that the first loss is the- least.— l am, &c, Observes. Ngaruawahia, May 5.
