RAILWAY MISMANAGEMENT AND OFFICIAL PARTIALITY.

Sir, — As your paper endeavours to mcto out and obtain " Equal and exact justice to all men," I trust. you will allow me, through its columns, to expose a case of injustice and shuffling on the part of the Railway Manager. The settlors about Huntly have been very much annoyed by the total abseneo of facilities of any kind for loading or unloading sheep and cattlo on railway trucks. One settler had to put sheep in a yard at some considerable distance, and carry them over one by one to tho truck at the station- Another had to put ropes on his cattle, and get half-a------dozen men to haul them into the trucks, besides having to bring an old door to the station, for a loading board. for loading pens and board, and, in January last, he gave a promise, in writiug, that he would recommend the erection of a single pen, but this promise ho now declines to fulfil,' and tells As, for our comfort, that loading pens are to be erected at various other stations.
