WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL.
A meeting of the Building Commitee of the above Council was held at Ohaupo on Tuesday, the 23nd inst. Present : Crs. Steele, (Chairman), Buttle and Cunningham when the following tenders for erection of Council Chambers were opened :— Mr S Taylor, £122 10s ; Mr D. Henderson, £210; Mr W, Price, £148.
On the motion of Cr. Buttle, seconded by Cr. Cunningham, Mr Taylor's tender was accepted. Tiie building is to be completed in two months from the time of signing the contract. •
