[REUTER'S SPECIAL CABLEQaAMS. | A^SORTIE FROM EKOWE. LONDON, April 9. Colonial Pearson made a sortie from Ekowe oa march 2G, but was repulsed. He regained his entrenchments. The lOfch Regiment is in rapid march to his relief. The ' Standard' in a leading article announcs that, if the Khedive of Egypt, after the friendly warning from England aud France, fails to retrieve his conduct, the Sultan will be invited to depose him.
