SIR ARTHUR GORDON ON FIJI. LONDON, March, 18* A very iuterosting paper was read before the Colonial Institute by Sir Arthur Gordon, (.Governor of Fiji. The prominent speakers who took part in the discussiou were Earl Grarivile, Sir Michael H r .cks-Beach, Vicount Cardwell, and Lord Sel bourne. All commended Sir Arthur Gordon's energy in Fiji. From a remark made by Sir Michael Hicks-Peach, it is inferred that Sir Arthur Gordon will not return to Fiji.
