AT a Special Meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council, held at the •Council Chambers on the lOfch instant, the following Resolution was adopted, viz :- " That a Special Kate be made, payable on the first day of May in each 1 aud every year, of One Shilling in the £ on the Annual Value of all Property within the Borough, in order to secure the payment of the Interest and linking , Fund upon the Loan of Seven Thousand Pounds (£7,000) authorised to be raised by the Borough, for the purpose of constructing a Cart Bridge over the Waikato River at Hamilton, and that this resolution be confirmed by this Council, at a meeting to be held on Monday the! seventh day of April, 1879."
