LONDON, March 6. Yakoob Khan ia deserted, and unable to quell the tribal disputes about the succession. He has retired to Herat. The proclamation of the death of Shere Ali and the succession of Yakoob Khan caused on outbreak m Afghanistan. The chiefs were successful, and ! Yakoob fled.
