IT is hereby notified that tho 98th Clause of the "Public Works Act, 1870," is now m force within the Borough of Hamilton, by a resolution passed at a sitting held on the 1- th February, 1879, and Owners and Occupiers of Lauds are requested to grub up and remove Furze growing and spreading from any Hedge into any Road bounding their Properties within One Month from the Date of this Notice, failing which the Cost incurred by the Hamilton Borough Council m removing such Furze or Goi'se will be charged upon Owners or Occupiers when undertaken by the Council, and tho Penalty inflicted as laid down by tho Act.
