Waikato Times Office, Friday Evening. AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET. MR. A. AUCKLAND'S WEEKLY REPORT. At Rerauera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were in limited number, and dull of sale, but without nvaoh alteration in value, tore cattle in limited numbers. Oalrea, 31s; yearlings. £3 sa; cowa, in low condition, £3 sa; three-year-old steers, £7 7s 6deoch Fatoattlein average number; 103 head sold. Market firmer. Prices ranged from 25a to 32a per lOOlbs. Fat sheep of ohoioe quality in better supply than usual, with no improvement in value, and ranged from 2|d for good ewea, to 5d for choice wethers. Lamba in full number, and were lower than for Heveral weeks—2a to 3a each. A few ohoice pens brought 8a to lis each, but the greater number of good average lambs brought from 5a to 7a. Averages were • 10 steers, W. Woodward, £10; 11 ateera, Weatney Broa., £9 17a; 8 steers, Jno. Soott, £8 12s; 8 ateera, D. Caley, £f? 7a; 8 ateers, Jos. Gane, £8 3a; J. W. Short, 14 ateera, £8; 95 wethers, McLean & Co., 17s; 140 wethers, L. Walialy, 18s; 40 wethers, J. Matheson, 17s. MESSES HUNTER AND NOLAN'S WEEKLY REPORT. Horses.—There has been no noteworthy change in the market. We quote; Hacks, £6 15s to £l7 ss; medium draught colts (unbroken), £l9 10a to £2B; heavy draught, from £34 to £3B 7s 6d. Cattle.—The market, on the whole, has been characterised by activity. Fat beasts were in full supply, and met keen competition at 30s to 32s 6d per £loolbs. Sheep were in full supply, but brisk demand, and prices had an upward tendency. Lambs were in adequate Bupply, and sold at from 9s 6d to 14s.
