What I wish to a?k is — sines no advertisement giving notice of the Valuation List being open for inspection, &c, &c, has appeared weekly since the loth ult., — whether any rate at all can be legally made. No notice has been given, as prescribed by the Act, of the plao3 whera th.3 Valuation List may be seen, or where or when objections must be lodged.. — I am, &c, R.ATEI'AYER.
