January 21. Yesterday, January 20, tho long-talkcd-of return match between the Ngaruawahia and Raglan Cricket Clubs came off at tho latter place. Tho wickets were pitched shortly after teii o'clock, the Nganriwahia team handling the willow fir<t, their representatives being Messrs B irton and Bromfield. The Ngaruawahia team were placed at rather a disadvantage, owing to the absence of five of their number, who failed to put m an appearance at the appointed time. At the conclusion of the match, the visitors were entertained at a dinner, given them by the local club at Graham s Hotel, when the usual toasts m vogue on such ooonuwns were proposed.
