Horses.— 9o were sold at the auction, at prices varying from 20s to £30. Those mostly enquired for, arc active young horses, suitable for plough or waggon. At the sale of Mr Robt. Drabbles horses, at Ohaupo, on the 10th December, there was an unusually large attendance of buyers. Competition was brisk, aud all were sold at the following prices:— 1 pair mares, £47 ; 1 pair Grey geldings, £51; 1 horse, £35 10s; 1 horse, £38; 1 horse, £32 ; 3 hor.se.-i, £15, £10 and £20 respectively. The plough harness brought £3 10s the set, and the iinpliinents were not sold. At Mr L. B. Harris' special sale, the attendance was good, and everything offered was sold, with the exception of the bull, King of Banvood, three colts, and the thrashing machine. The cattle were of good quality, and wore eagerly competed for. 30 cows, sold from £4 to £25 ; 32 heifers, from £3 17s 6d to £<> 7s Gd; 22 steers, £3 12s Gd to £7 ss; 11 calves, 35s to £5; 1 pair haudsomo draught geldings, £38 eaoh; 1 marc and foal, £39 ; 1 unbroken colt, £23 ; riding horses, £7 os to £14 10s. •
