\ December 19. At tlio last'meetinj • >f the Pirongia District Bonrd, fi^s#s J. Hodgeson and J, H. Thompson were appointed valuers for the district. Mr Pistrucio's plan for the new bridge over the Ranqikikia Creek, near Mr LolfelPs, was approved of by the Board, and it , was agreed to advertise at once m the Waikato Times for tenders for tho work. -During the war, one or two soldiers, drowned m tho Waipa, were l>uriftd on (ho bauk of the river at Ngfhinapouri. The floods, however, have washed away the bank, and exposed the bones of the poor fellows. The Government, who have lately been setting m order the soldiers' graveyards at Whalawhata and other places, have taken up the bones to have them decently interred. — Own CohbesponDENT.
