SYDNEY, December 10. The Government are taking the first steps to appoint a commission to manage the Exhibition. The New Caledonian Government have gazetted a Commission to inquire into the cause of the revolt. The Queensland Government have been notified of the withdrawal of of the contract of the A.S.N. Co., if the terms uuobserved m the recent Chinese enactments are ignored.
