FAILURE TO FORM A MINISTRY. SYDNEY, December 13. !M>. Robertson has relinqushed the task of forming an administration, owing to the hostility shewn by four or fire members of the Assembly yesterday night, to the incoming Government, and their evident intention to obstruct the vote proposed for the Exhibition until a time when the money wool/I be useless for the object ; fears are entertained that the delay would jeopardise the Exhibition, the failure of which would result m a national disgrace. Mr Roberston has also resigned his seat m Parliament, and retires from public life.
