At the hide and skin sale, on Tuesday, sound hides brought from 2f to 2JJ; damaged and dirty hides from £d to 2d the lb ; sheepskins, Is 6d to 5s each ; pelts, Id to 31 ; lambskins, Is to Is 3d ; lock and pieces. Id to 4i '. small parcels of wool, 6d to 8d the lb. ; At Remuera on Thursday dairy cattle were dull of sale. Store cattle were at higher values than have hitherto ruled. Fa’i cattle in full supply ; 150 yarded, mostly steers of good quality. Prices were steady throughout the sale j steers, at 30s, cows at 27s the lOOlbs. Fat sheep ranged from 2d for ewes to 3d for best wethers. Lambs in excess of require - men's, and atlower values ; best quality from 8s to 11s, but a large number sold at from Is 6d to 5s each.
